1st MLG Family Readiness - Reunite, Readjust & Rediscover
The Return and Reunion Workshop provides an opportunity for Spouses of our deployed Marines and Sailors to discuss, share and learn ways to successfully transition through the return and reunion process. Topics covered during this interactive, fun and meaningful workshop include:
- Expectations of Homecoming
- Communication in Relationships
- Exploration of Change
- Re-establishing Relationships
Each Regiment and Battalion will schedule the Reunite, Readjust & Rediscover Workshop with Marine Corps Family Team Building 6 - 8 weeks before a homecoming. This will also allow for the spouses of our Marines and Sailors to properly prepare and make all necessary requirements to attend the workshop. If you would like to attend a Return & Reunion Workshop, please contact your Key Volunteer to enquire of the scheduled time/date and location.
For more specific information on the workshop, the link below is provided for your use.
MILITARY FAMILY SURVEY
This survey provides Marines and their spouses with an opportunity to tell Marine Headquarters where they think the Headquarters should spend their dollars and what services are most useful and necessary before, during, and after deployment. Attached is an invitational flyer that can be distributed to Marines and their spouses. Also, the direct link to the survey is: http://militaryfamilysurvey.rand.org
