Description of CLC-16's Insignia:
The top scroll reads 'Los Lobos' meaning 'The Wolves' in Spanish. The wolf is chosen because CLC-16 is a small, close desert unit such as a pack of wolves.
The Spanish language is chosen because of the close proximity to the Mexican Border (approximately 5 statute miles) and the 80% Hispanic populating in Yuma, Arizona.
The bottom scroll depicts the Company name (CLC-16)
The internal design is the head of a wolf with the Arizona state flag in the background.
The single wolf head is indicative of the lone wolf, thus representing CLC-16 as the farthest subordinate command from 1st MLG Headquarters.
The state flag signifies that this is the only 1st MLG subordinate command located within the state of Arizona.
