This page was created to provide Marines/Sailors and their families inbound to 1st Radio Battalion with the resources and information they need. Please download the Welcome aboard package as well as the Camp Pendleton Map.

Reporting in

All Personnel must first check into the Installation Personnel Administration Center (IPAC) when reporting to any tenant command aboard Camp Pendleton. A duty is posted 24 hours a day to stamp your orders. Refer to the next section to get driving directions. After you have checked in, call our OOD for disposition instructions. Members traveling with family members are encouraged to stay at Ward Lodging located 1/4 mile from 1st Radio Battalion.

Base Housing

Once you have checked in with JRC you can immediately go to the Base Housing office to be placed on the housing list. Most housing areas have a short waiting list, but at times they have housing available same day.

Off Base Housing

Before signing a lease and moving into off base housing you must check in at Base Housing. Here is a Radius map to give you an idea of distances from 1st Radio Battalion. Some of the best value homes are located further inland near Murrieta, and Temecula. The drive time to base from Murrieta is about 45 minutes.
