Welcome to First Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF), Camp Pendleton. You have been given a great opportunity to excel by being stationed with I MEF. We provide the greatest military force to our Nation. Our Marines, and Sailors, have been at the forefront of our country’s response to the Global War on Terror. They have served in an outstanding manner being recognized by some of our Nation’s top awards for valor during combat. I am proud to be serving as your Command Master Chief and look forward to greeting you all personally.
My main focus is as an advocate for our enlisted personnel with the Commanding General. I am the principle-enlisted advisor to the Commanding General for our Sailors, assisting in formulating and implementing policy concerning morale, welfare, job satisfaction, discipline, utilization, and training of Enlisted Navy Personnel.
Another area of focus for me is to stimulate better communication at all levels of the command. It is very important that you utilize your chain of command to resolve issues at the lowest levels; however I will always be available to sit down and assist or provide you advice based upon my years of experience in the Navy. I maintain an open door policy and I am willing to sit down and talk to anyone.
I MEF consists of 1st Marine Headquarters Group, 1st Marine Division, 3rd Marine Air Wing, and 1st Marine Logistics Group. I know that you will have an outstanding tour of duty, anywhere within I MEF. Welcome Aboard!
