Brig. Gen. Michael G. Dana acknowledged the accomplishments of the battalion during his speech to the unit, as well as at the transfer of authority ceremony the next day.

Derick Kneeland, motor transport operator, Combat Logistics Battalion 7, 1st Marine Logistics Group, reunites with his wife and son at the 7th Engineer Support Battalion homecoming aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 26. Kneeland, from Dallas, was able to hold his 3-month-old son for the first time.
