
Lieutenant Colonel Fridriksson was raised in Alaska and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1990. After graduating the School of infantry, he reported to Marine Barracks, Guam. In 1991, he reported to Kilo Company, 3rd Bn, 7th Marines and served as a Radio Operator, Fire Team Leader and Squad Leader.
In 1994 he was commissioned and after completing The Basic School (TBS) and the Infantry Officer Course (IOC), LtCol Fridriksson reported to 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion in Camp Pendleton, where he served as a Platoon Commander and Executive Officer for Company C. In 1998, LtCol Fridriksson reported for duty to The Basic School where he served as a Tactics Instructor, Staff Platoon Commander and Company Executive Officer.
In 2001, LtCol Fridriksson reported to 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines, where he served as the Assistant Battalion Operations Officer, Commanding Officer for India Company, and the Battalion Operations Officer. In 2004, LtCol Fridriksson served as the Commanding Officer, Security Company, Marine Barracks, Washington DC.
In 2008, LtCol Fridriksson was transferred to the Joint IED Defeat Organization and served as a Counter IED Team Leader for the U.S. Army's 10th Mountain Division. In 2009, LtCol Fridriksson reported for duty to the First Marine Division and served as the Headquarters Battalion Executive Officer and Assistant Operations Officer for RCT-1.
LtCol Fridriksson is a graduate a several US Army courses and Marine Corps Command and Staff College.
