11th MEU Builds a Shore

Cpl. Nhan B. Ngo, a vertical construction engineer with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit's combat logistics element, nails together a shore used to support crumbling buildings during rescue training at the San Francisco Fire Fighting School here July 14. The Marines are training in preparation for possible humanitarian aid missions on their upcoming deployment this fall.

1st CEB bid farewell to fallen comrades

MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - (07.01.2011)

The Marines and sailors of 1st Combat Engineers Battalion held a memorial ceremony at San Mateo, July 1, to pay tribute to the Marines who made the ultimate sacrifice during the unit's recent deployment to Afghanistan.
