Family Readiness Assistant: New concept of Key VolunteerAs a Family Readiness Assistant you will assist the FRO by keeping families informed about available resources and Company News. Under the guidance of the FRO, you may be asked to support the UFRP by
- continuing to provide the personal touch to family readiness
- welcoming new families
- providing feedback from families
- newsletter development and delivery
- assisting with information and referral services
- attending family readiness-related functions such as Pre-Deployment Briefs, family days and Return and Reunion Briefs
Family Readiness Assistants must attend formal training from MCFTB and are appointed by the commander.
Morale Support Volunteer(s)
Is your specialty planning events, decorating, and creating new fun things to do? Help the Family Readiness team plan and coordinate events for our families while promoting and maintaining unit cohesion and morale? Training is NOT required to volunteer in this capacity.
