Commanding Officer’s Update

Happy Holidays from Afghanistan!! Apache Company has been getting into the holiday spirit despite being so far from home. On Thanksgiving, our chow tent was decorated and Marines enjoyed a full-fledged Thanksgiving supper, to include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and pumpkin pie. The scene quickly transitioned as Marines started receiving their Christmas packages filled with all sorts of holiday décor ranging from tinsel and lights, to Santa Claus hats and even miniature Christmas trees. As time went on, more and more of these items arrived and Marines utilized their creativity to decorate their tents and the company command center.
