Lance Corporal Dallas Johnston

Lance Corporal Dallas Johnston was born on July 3, 1989. Johnston entered the Marine Corp Dep. Program in September of 2008 and received orders to Marine Corps boot camp at MCRD San Diego in the following month. On October 27, 2008 Johnston reported to MCRD San Diego for Recruit Training. He was assigned to Fox Company Platoon 2130. Here, he would receive meritorious PFC for outstanding performance and would go on to graduate in January of 2009.

After Graduating from Marine Corps Recruit Training, PFC Johnston reported to the School of Infantry West and was assigned to Delta Company. From there, he would graduate top of his platoon and was promoted to Lance Corporal. In April of 2009, Johnston graduated from SOI and was assigned the military occupation specialty of 0311.

In that same month, Lcpl Johnston received orders to Reconnaissance Training Company at SOI West Advanced Infantry Training Battalion. After 2 weeks in the Reconnaissance Indoctrination Platoon otherwise known as RIP, Johnston picked up with the next class of 6-09. After successfully completing all requirements of BRC, Lcpl Johnston was awarded the military occupation specialty 0321, Reconnaissance Marine.

On July 24, 2009 Lcpl Johnston reported to 1st Reconnaissance Battalion and was assigned to Alpha Company 3rd Platoon. There, he was given the billet of team leader and has been tasked with everything his team does or fails to do. Currently, he is awaiting a slot in Marine Combatant Dive School to be attended in October of 2009.
