Welcome to the 3rd Battalion 1st Marines’ chaplain’s home page.

The chaplain offers innovative ministry and spiritual care to our marines, sailors and families. The chaplain’s primary job is to provide and facilitate religious services, and care for all Marines and Sailors.

Worship Services aboard Camp Pendleton are listed in the Base Newspaper, "The Scout", on their website www.pendleton.usmc.mil/chaplain/ or can be obtained by calling the Religious Development Center (760) 725-4700, Marine Memorial Chapel (760) 725-5322 or South Mesa Chapel (760) 725-2929.

Chaplain Care – Has all the pertinent information for spiritual care and assistance.

Credo Marriage Enrichment Weekend Retreat – It is a free weekend marriage retreat designed to boost, enhance, empower and even fix issues in a marriage for military members. It starts from Friday afternoon and ends on Sunday noon in various locations within few hours of driving distance.

Daily Bible Reading – It gives you daily Scripture reading schedule as well as other spiritual links.

Education – tuition assistance, degree, classes, etc…

L.I.N.K.S – Orientation to the Marine Corps lifestyle. It is strongly recommended for all service members spouse.

Retrouvaille – Lifeline for Marriages needing urgent/immediate help. Couples with marital problems including those who are considering marriage separation and those who are already separated or divorced that want marriage help are encouraged to attend. It is a weekend retreat focused on helping couples deal with deeply rooted marriage/personal issues. The cost is on donation basis.

In these days a great deal is being asked of our military and military families. Tremendous moral and spiritual strength is required to succeed. The chaplain is a confidential resource for Marines, Sailors and their dependents. Let me know if you are in need of help or assistance.
