Master Chief Petty Officer Fiesco completed High School in Bogota, Colombia before coming to United States in July 1979. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in February 1983, completed Basic Training and Basic Corpsman “A” School in San Diego CA, upon graduation, he attended Fleet Medical Service School at Camp Pendleton CA. The same year he reported for duty to the Naval Regional Medical Center, San Diego. He performed his duties as the orthopedic ward Senior Corpsman.  In 1984 he transferred to 1st Force Service Support Group Camp Pendleton CA, where he was promoted to Third Class Petty Officer, Second Class Petty Officer, obtained his Associates Degree in Arts from National University and volunteered for deployment with MSSG-11 on the Western Pacific.

In 1988 he reported for duty at Naval Hospital San Diego CA, he provided administrative assistance to the Total Quality Leadership Coordinator, he was augmented to 1st Marine Division during Operation Desert Shields and Operation Desert Storm, serving six months with 1st Battalion 7th Marines.

In 1992 he was promoted to First Class Petty Officer, and completed his Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University.

In 1994 he transferred to 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, El Toro CA. During this tour he completed his Master Degree in Science of Safety Management and Engineering Technology, at National University, he was assigned as Squadron Corpsman with VMFA-323 and deployed to the Western Pacific on board of USS Constellation. Upon his return, he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer, and immediately assumed the duties as MAG-11 Chief at the new home base NAS Miramar CA.

In 1997 he reported for duty to the Naval Medical Center, San Diego CA, as the Command Fitness Coordinator and Senior Enlisted Leader for the Occupational Health and Preventive Medicine Directorate.  In 1998 he was promoted as Senior Chief Petty Officer and assigned to duties as Senior Enlisted Leader for the USNS Mercy platform, under the Clinical Services Directorate.

In 1999, he reported for duty to 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton CA, where he completed assignments with 11th Marines and 5th Marines as Regimental Senior Chief.

In 2001 he was promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer, and reassigned to the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, CA. He assumed duties as Senior Enlisted Leader for the Branch Medical Clinics Directorate, directly supporting four outlying and four on base Branch Medical Clinics. Additionally, he was assigned as the Command Master Chief for the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton's Fleet Hospital platform.   Selected as a Command Master Chief for the 3D Marine Aircraft Wing, MCAS Miramar CA. served in Al-Asad Iraq from February 04 to March 05. Selected into the Command Master Chief program,  assigned as Command Master Chief (CMDCM) for 1st MLG, deployed to Camp Al Taqaddum Iraq from Jan -  Sep 2008.  Currently assigned as Command Master Chief for I-Marine Expeditionary Force and US MARCENT Command.

Master Chief Fiesco's personal awards and decorations include: Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Warfare Air Specialist, Meritorious Service Medal (3), Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2), Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4) and the Combat Action Ribbon.
