Family and Friends –
Since arriving four nights ago to Rodriguez Live Fire Complex in Yongpyong, South Korea the Marines have been busy getting settled and preparing to move to the ranges to start the live fire portion of the package.
The weather has been cool and pleasant but turned to rain late last night and then snow this morning. The weather forecast is looking better this week with low temps but no precipitation.
Attached are a few photos that show the exterior of the barracks and the local area. I’ll send more photos over the next few days.
We are 17 hours ahead of California so if it is 4:30 pm on Sunday it is 9:30 am on Monday here.

Your Marines are doing well and motivated particularly now that the U.S. Army has moved in next door. The gauntlet has been thrown down and accepted for 10 event field day competition later in the training schedule.
