While deployed, 11th MEU Marines and sailors can receive letters and packages through the U.S. Postal Service. Packages must come with appropriate customs forms provided by the post office. Delivery can sometimes take up to two weeks; therefore, be cautious of fragile or perishable items and foodstuffs. Include recipient's rank and name in capital letters.

The MEU Family Readiness Officer can assist in locating Marines and sailors at their assigned units and sections.
