Commanding Officer Kilo Battery

Captain Jarrod Andrew Graham, USMC

Capt Jarrod Graham currently serves as the Commanding Officer for Battery K 3/12, 2d Battalion, 11th Marines, 1st Marine Division.

Capt Graham graduated from the United States Naval Academy with the class of 2001 and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Unites States Marine Corps. He reported to The Basic School, E Company in July 2001. Upon completion of the Basic Officer's Course, Capt Graham attended the Artillery Officer's Basic Course at Fort Sill, OK.

Captain Graham was assigned to Battery T, 5/11 where he served as a forward observer. In January 2003, Capt Graham deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Southern Watch. In February 2003, Capt Graham was attached to Company B, 3d LAR Bn where he served as forward observer during the invasion of Iraq. Upon completion of major combat operations, Capt Graham returned to Battery T, 5/11 and returned to the US as part of Amphibious Task Force West aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard. After returning to Camp Pendleton, Capt Graham was assigned as Liaison Officer for Battery T. In March 2004, Capt Graham attended the Weapons Tactics Instructor course at Yuma, AZ. In May of 2004, Capt Graham attached to Weapons Company, BLT 1/1 where he served as Artillery Liaison Officer. Capt Graham deployed with the 15th MEU (SOC) where he participated in Operation Unified Assistance and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Capt Graham was ordered to 3d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Twentynine Palms, CA, where he served as Fire Support Coordinator from July 2005 until October 2008. As FSC, Capt Graham participated in training at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin and Exercise Mojave Viper. Capt Graham deployed from March - October 2006 and from August 2007-April 2008 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon completion of his tour as FSC, Capt Graham graduated on the Commandant's List from the Field Artillery Captain's Career Course at Fort Sill, OK.

Upon assignment to 2d Battalion, 11th Marines, Capt Graham commanded HQ Battery from June 2009 to January 2010.

Captain Graham's personal decorations include: the Navy and Maine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon. Captain Graham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy.

Capt Graham is married and has one son.
